There's nothing more beautiful as Spring time here in New Albany, Mississippi! Especially after a cold & wet winter. I enjoy every season in Northeast Mississippi, but winter is my least favorite because I stay COLD even in the summer time! So you better believe I completely welcome Spring & all her rebirth and beauty....and mostly the WARMTH!
What better way to spend the first of Spring than with our 2 munchkins? To me, there's nothing more endearing as seeing things through the eyes of a child. And even if it didn't quite warm up & get as sunny as I'd hoped, it was still a beautiful day because the boys had so much fun.
The main attraction of the day was definitely their new John Deere 'Gator' (the toddler sized version that is) that Mama 'Noe (that's what they affectionately call my mother in-law) bought them. Jackson was thrilled that it rained because he finally got the chance to try out his rain boots on some REAL puddles and did more than his fair share of puddle-jumping. And of course I couldn't resist watching [bribing] them pick flowers from the side yard. I snapped as many photos as I could in the small window of opportunity that I get with our 4 & 2 year old...[Very small window!!Those of you with pre-schoolers & toddlers know exactly what I mean]. They were worn out by day's end! Let's just say it was a lot quieter on the ride home. They sure had a blast though!
