What do you get with twin 3 years olds and an evening at the park?
Silly faces + laughter + lots of sweetness = Cuteness Overload!
Working with small children is always unpredictable. You never really know what you're going to get until you're actually in the moment and so that is one of the reasons why I offer a planning session included with my family portrait sessions.
In the case of this precious family, the planning session allowed me the little extra 'warm up' period the twins and I needed before the actual day of our photo session. Mom and I were hoping for the typical beautiful, crisp Fall weather that we usually have this time of year in northeast Mississippi, but Saturday came and the prediction was anything but. By noon it felt more like early Summer! I guess no matter how much you try to will the weather, Mother Nature always has her own plans.......insert sad face here.
By the time our session time rolled around the weather actually cooled off a bit and it turned out to be a rather pleasant evening. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with this family as we made our way through the park to some of my favorite photo-op spots.
Kids can be a bowl full of laughs and these two were no exception! My favorite moments were when they were having their little 'twin' moments. I've always admired the kind of closeness that twin siblings share. It is like none other and it was some kind of awesome to see how connected these 2 are and how strong the bond between them is.
It was also very endearing to see the love between the entire family. Daddy's little girl stopping to make sure Daddy was catching up to us any time he lingered and the sweetest little boy nuzzles for Mommy from her little man. The reason why I love doing what I do.
And of course, some silly going on from time to time from but that just made catching the real moments so easy. I couldn't have asked for a sweeter family to spend my evening with.
I hope you enjoy this little sneak peek from their photo session!
